I attended this championship 3 times already and won previous two titles. Now it was time to strike again :-). I ran 1/10 nitro on-road only as it was not possible to drive two categories due to the little of the time.
This race was attended by many racers (80 racers) from different countries, Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia... It was beautiful sunny weekend with temperatures about 30-35°C.
Overall result was a summary of two raced rounds so it was important to do our best in qualification and both races.
As for the race on Saturday, I qualified in good position to the main final A. I won this final and made first step to win the title, but we couldnâ™t leave anything to chance, so we prepared the car and the engine for the next day the best we could.
As for the race on Sunday, I made the TQ again which was a good starting point to semifinals. Unfortunately in the semifinals a storm hit the track and the results had to be taken from qualifying.
This led to my 3rd consecutive win, with summary of 3 starts and 3 wins in 2014, 2015 and 2016.
